A Brief of Myanmar

Myanmar is being described as “Asia’s Last Frontier Economy”. Its GDP growth reached an average of 6.5% in the past three years. Since the liberalization of the Myanmar economy, the government has been able to improve the country's political and economic status, and with such, people are increasingly moving from rural areas to cities seeking job opportunities and a better way of living, therefore creating new growth and investment opportunities for companies. In respect to young generation, more and more young people are involved in online gaming and e-sport which boosts Myanmar's gaming market, but frequent power cuts are holding players back in this emerging market. To support the growing urbanization and to sustain the economic momentum, the Myanmar government is expected to increase investment in various sectors, including infrastructure and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Industries. The country’s bright economic outlook desperately needs a corresponding smart system/solution to support further expansion. (data source: The ASEAN Post, PR Newswire)

A Brief of Yangon

Yangon Region is the center of Myanmar's industrial production, with by far the largest number of active industrial zones in the country. Up to now there are over 20 industrial zones(click me) and one Japan-backed special economic zone (Thilawa) in this region. Furthermore, a Taiwan-led industrial zone named Htantabin is under construction northwest of Yangon. Taking advantage of the region’s relatively strong infrastructure and deeper human resources pool.
